Hi, I’m Faye Aydin, a trained and experienced hair and makeup artist – and I love it!

I began my career in hair and make up in my native city of Manchester in the UK.

My Latin European heritage has influenced my style, and I love to create fresh, vibrant, stylish images that always meet the brief.  I am happy following direction or can show off my own creative flair – whatever works best!

My passion for hair and makeup has always been fundamental to my life.  My attention to detail, which is hard to teach, is paramount to everything that I do.

My work is regularly featured in print media, online, as well as in film and television.

Print credits include, The Telegraph, Vogue Italia, Country Living, The Daily Mail, Noctis, C-Heads, Photography Monthly, The Guardian, Professional Photographer, Reveal, The Magazine, Just Magazine to name a few.

TV and Film credits include, Shakespeare & Hathaway (BBC) 1917 (Amblin Productions), The A List (BBC) Footballers Wives (ITV), Coronation Street (ITV), Hollyoaks (Ch4), So Awkward 1 & 2 (BBC), Casualty (BBC), Phantom of the Opera (Universal Pictures), The Kings Speech (Momentum Pictures) amongst others.

I work with Corporate clients on TV commercials and advertising projects.  I like working with children as they are lots of fun, and I am fully UK DBS checked and COVID-19 Health & Safety trained.

I am requested specifically by artists such as Lisa Stansfield, Kim Cattrall and others, and feel lucky to be working with such talented people.

Being able to travel to New York, Milan, and Paris for bookings is exciting, although I enjoy working in the UK too. In my downtime, I love listening to music, reading as well as watching films, Amelie is one of my favourites, I love the costume designs, and of course the hair and makeup!
